Some cool stuff I have come across lately...
This store in Carlsbad, CA has the coolest clothes ever for toddlers to four year olds. I need to contact the owner because I am beyond sad that most of the clothes on their website are too small for my two boys. If you like cool clothes for kids, please check out this site. Their logo alone is worth checking out!!
Nursing covers and wet bags. A mom friend has one of these, and I was salivating over the awesome pattern, not to mention how great these are for everything from snacks to soiled clothing to wet bathing suits. This site has fantastic nursing covers and a variety of other great options for moms. I already ordered one of these wet bags for myself - this beats ziplock bags any day!
I love IMAX movies. This one looks fantastic, and it is coming in February. Great day out for the kids at the Natural History Museum or California Science Center - go see this and then hit the museums.
I have been meaning to blog this session for a week or so! Here is Ambree again at 9 months. I LOVE this age! 6-9 months is one of my favorite ages to photograph because babies are so happy and expressive at this age. Ambree just loved hanging on to the black chairs at the Metlox Center. Every session I shoot with her, she loves to stick out her tongue at me and scrunch up her face, and then she gives me a big smile. She is by far one of the most expressive babies that I have photographed this year.
Happy Birthday! My hubby turned 40 today - we celebrated in style last night with about 25 friends at a great local bar called Saint Rocke. If you like live music, this place is great!
Mark - thank you for being the best husband and father anyone could ever ask for! Looking forward to celebrating the next forty plus years with you by my side.
Here is a photo of us at the very end of the evening last night with Mark's brother Craig and my sister-in-law, Melanie.
Have a wonderful day celebrating. We always do Christmas Eve with Mark's family and Christmas Day with mine - we are both lucky to have our families close by. Here are some fun photos from tonight and from the inside of our holiday card.
Loving on Grandpa...
The Roah cousins (minus Erika and Mari who live in Japan)...
My newest favorite family photo of Jason with Grandma. Many hugs for getting his Blendy-Pens!
How cool are these reindeer cookies Grandma brought? Add pretzel ears and shazam, you have an awesome reindeer!
These two have a little brother coming in February! Very excited - can't wait to photograph the new little guy! Maddie greeted me at the door, all dressed and ready to go. Doesn't she look beautiful? Her big sister tried to boss her throughout the shoot, and she was having none of it...it was so funny to
watch.
This session was an absolute blast. I have known Skyler since she was two, and always thought she would be amazing in front of the camera. This year, she is in the first grade with Derek. Her mom and I had a bunch of cute clothes picked out for her, and she insisted on this pink jacket and her boots. We eventually got her to wear the fabulous blue dress as well. Kristina, I have some great ones of Zach too, but Skyler deserved a blog post of her own, don't you think? :)
